Legend has it that Azzurrina has disappeared in the passages of the castle and has never been found again… but you will be able to hear cries and lamentations recorded in every five years of summer!
The Legend: One night, during the summer solstice of 1375 , a violent storm raged and the girl was playing with her rag ball through the rooms of the castle, always watched by two personal guards. Suddenly the ball rolled down into the dungeons and fell into the icebox (a deep pit closed by a single trap door and with no other way out).
Suddenly the guards heard a heartbreaking scream, but ran to the place of the incident, near the icebox, they found nothing: the child had vanished, no trace remained of her and she was never found again.
Even today his ghost wanders through the basement of the castle and during the nights of the summer solstice (every five years) his cries and laments can be heard. There are those who say they have seen it and even painted it: the painting hanging above the place of its disappearance would in fact be posthumous, created following the vision of its ghost!
